It seemed like a good idea at the time. A 24 hour zombie horror movie marathon with talks from some cast members and directors. You had food and caffiene and all seemed good. Maybe staying up late the night before watching a few of the movies they weren't planning on showing wasn't such a good plan though.
Three movies in and you eyes began to droop and during one of the Q&A sessions you head began to sink forward. Next thing you know all went black.
When you woke up the screen was pure white and you could hear the projector running in the background. There was no one else around, people bags lay scattered about on the floor along with random items of food and drinks. Confused you wandered out into the main foyer. Outside the streets were dark, only a few lonely street lights cast a dim illumination. But that wasn't the first thing that caught your eye. On the floor lay the body of a police man, gripped in one hand was a bible and in the other a chainsaw the engine purring. His body was covered in a multitude of wounds, long vicious scratches and what looked like bite marks.
As you took this in a figure lurched into view, outlined in the glass cinema doors the dead eyes of the walking corpse stared at you.
Maybe you are dreaming, maybe soon you will wake up in the cinema with your friends laughing at you. But can you take that risk?
