The Trekeen tend to stay in the deep forests, occasionally raiding Ellandil outposts for imagined slight, at other times the races trade peacefully. The Depdwel soon spread throughout the Ellandil civilisation taking over much of the farming rquirements.

Fall of the Ellandil: The Ellandil are tainted by the devourers, soon they fall into self destructive sadistic life paths. Over the space of 100 years their civilisation tears itself apart. The Depdwel begin spending more time burrowed in at this time whilst large areas of the Ellandil land are destoryed by Trekeen raiders. The Dragons watch the events, soon they realise the devourers are growing in power.

The fallow time: The Trekeen and Depdwel slowly build up their own civilisations in the ruins of the Ellandil. The Dragons meanwhile turn their attentions to the devourers trying to understand them.

The harrowing: The Dragons come the the conclusion that the devourers are feeding on the spirits of the younger races. They decide to wipe them out and begin a purge of the Trekeen and Depdwel. The Trekeen and Depdwel fight back beginning the centuries long war known as the harrowing.

The arrival of Man: The isles of man arise in the western sea, the tribes of men awake on the isles. Slowly they learn to use basic tools and construct rudimentary boats. Their arrival is unoticed by the warring races of the Harrowing allowing them to develop in peace.

The fall of the elder races: The Harrowing is ended when the surviving Trekeen and Depdwel band together to cast a spell that puts the Dragons into a deep sleep. The surviving few Trekeen and Depdwel hide themsleves in case the spell ever fades, slowly they forget their heritage. A few clutches of Dragon eggs hatch but without the adult dragons to teach them they are feral creatures.

The coming of Man: Boats from the Isles of Man finally reach the mainland. Soon the tribes of man move from the isles to the mainland and begin to spread out. Soon they discover the remains of the previous civilisations and the kingdoms of man begin to form. The surviving Trekeen and Depdwel hide from this new race.

Rise of the Dominion: A number of human mages piece together the existance of the devourers. They reach much the same conclusion as the Dragons that the devourers feed on the spirits of the living and decide to do something about it. Allying with the Kkkt queens who had become disilluioned with the various kings they put into place the Dominion. The core principles of which is to allow the race of man and Kkkt to exist at a sustained level to attempt to starve the devourers.

Reign of the Dominion: The Dominion extands across the land, through a combination of magic and subtle culling the human population is kept low. The general qualty of living is high, with most of the population living in village connected by a system of canals. The Kkkt population is kept in check by the queens.

Rise of the Avriar and Kelmarin: The mountain dwelling Avriar and Kelmarin arise, soon they are brought into the Dominion in much the same manner as man.

The Decay: Many of the high masters of the Dominion, mages whose lives have been extended for many years, begin to be twisted by the temptations of the devourours. Soon they begin to view the citizens with more and more disdain, they begin to use them as experimental subjects despite the objection of the other high masters. Meanwhile the young Kkkt queens being born do not have the racial memory that their mother had.

The Mage War: The arguements over citizens rights within the High Masters boil over into all out war. This lasts for almost 50 years, large swathes of the country are devastated by magical and mundane battles. The Kkkt race also collapses as the newer queens forget more and more of their racial knowledge. Soon the dominion collapses and the citizens, by now unused to thinking for themselves, fall into a dark age.

The Dark Age: 300 years of darkness during which the last vestiges of the Dominion fall into disuse, petty warlords emerge and magic is shunned. During this time the church of the Great God, arises in the southern town of Kelkar. It's dogmatic tenets and distrust of all other beliefs strikes a chord in the downtrodden and lost remenants of the Dominion. It is taken up by the Kelker Juun the lord of Kelkar as the state religion. The kingdom of Kelker begins to spread, fueled by religion and the sword.

The modern day: The world is split into many small kindoms most of which have very little knowledge of the world outside. The Kingodm of Kelkar continues to grow, absorbing all around it and priests of the Great God are found travelling the land with the aim of converting all they find.
