From "History Of Empire" University Press, NE55Whether we will ever be able to sort the truths of the first Empire from the fables is unknown. Many of the documents relating to it have been lost to even the University or are stored in formats we can no longer read.
What we do know to be true is that there was once an Empire of men and others that spanned the stars. That they had technology far beyond our own, and an understanding of the universe that we do not yet have. We know they had enemies and they possessed weapons more poweful than any used during the Dark Times.
